Impulsivity

If you have a high impulsivity, it's difficult for you to think before acting. It's the instant impression or impulse that determines what you do. You simply do what first comes to mind. You have difficulties waiting for your turn, you interrupt others during conversations and "throw out answers" before you hear the entire question.

Your impulsivity causes problems with your friends and they may perceive it as disturbing that you interrupt their activities or conversations.

The impulsivity makes it hard for you to control feelings like anger, anxiety, fear and joy.

Because it becomes so hard for you to control your own actions and to plan long term, you need a lot of help. But sometimes you react negatively when adults help you. It gets tough because you have to wait and you don't get the quick reward.
